The food at the casual restaurant was excellent with a huge variety of alternatives. The location was absolutely perfect with a large fountain just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The staff were all superbly friendly and provided great service.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, right across the street from the water taxi and with a great view of the lake. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a cozy sofa area and a super comfortable bed. The staff provides excellent service, especially at the restaurant and at the hotel's entrance. Additionally, the hotel offers amenities such as an indoor pool, outdoor "urban beach," fitness room, and a lounge.
Some of the restaurants in the hotel are expensive and not very good.

Very welcoming and friendly reception - and a free upgrade to a suite, managed with no pomp or fuss. All staff were efficient, polite and courteous. Lovely, relaxing ambience to it all.
There were 2 things that let it down: 1) the internet connection in the suite didn't work, but there were also public access areas in the hotel that made it possible to do what we needed. 2) Breakfast - the coffee machine had apparently broken, leaving us still gasping for coffee after a 30 minute wait. And the selection was adequate, but not extensive, which is what you would expect for a hotel such as the Kempinski. That said, overall this was a very positive and pleasant experience.
